Top job. Just what I need. Can anyone explain to me though why anime is so expensive over here? I mean, £35 just for the first volume of Fairy Tail on BD? Insanity! It seems the more mainstream titles are cheaper like Evangelion and Naruto, hell, I got Paprika in a 3 for £17 deal the other day (never seen it, gonna watch it tonight) but stuff like Berzerk, Black Lagoon, Lupin the Third, and the aforementioned Fairy Tail are all extremely expensive. I haven't even got round to buying the Cowboy Bebop sets or Perfect Blue yet because they are so expensive!

Seems anime is expensive everywhere.  Some titles get (a lot) cheaper as time passes by though. Prices on Amazon seem to go down as sales drop. Btw those should be region A/B (like the normal sets). Seems like you're region free then . Btw how are the subs on the US blu's,had a lot of trouble with the Full Metal Panic! FUMOFFU subs as they're plain white and almost unreadable on a white background (which happens a lot). Had to watch most of the series dubbed. Or is my player to blame?

Shit, just remembered i'm not region free anymore! Well it was only in my basket so thats a relief/disappointment.  My D.Gray-Man blu's I seem to remember had white subs which was Ok since that series is generally quite dark so was easily readable. Can't comment on FMP though it is almost certainly the BD not your player.

Yep Cashern Sins blu is region A locked... Btw I posted a region free US anime blu list above. Hesitant about buying more US Funimation blu's if other subs are going to have the same problem (plain white with no border)...I like to watch anime in Japanese with subs...maybe I'll first do a search for screencaps with subs (which don't seem easy to find) or something...
