Just jumping in this thread now, but man, I'm more than a bit jealous at the wealth of awesome TV lurking across the pond! I'm obviously familiar with The Young Ones (my favorite!), Monty Python (classic genius!) and the Carry On series, and was thankfully been exposed to some BBC programming here on public access like Fawlty Towers Blackadderand Are You Being Served? when I was a kid, but I'm still in the discovery process of shows like Little Britain and Snuff Box these days. Brilliant stuff this More Bad News, however! Never knew this existed, so thanks for enlightening a willing American! Speaking of 'American,' Married...With Children and Perfect Strangers were my favorite shows growing up. |

i've been rewatching Only Fools And Horses on BBC1 and it get's me in stitches. So many memorable lines and some of stuff that comes out of Trigger's mouth is genius. It insane when you think that all 85 episodes were solely written by John Sullivan and each episode was as good as the last. |

The Black Adder (TV Series 1982
Season 1, Episode 5: Witchsmeller Pursuivant Original Air Date—13 July 1983 When the plague rages through Europe everyone blames "witches". When Edmund fails a "test" everyone suddenly becomes his enemy. Gentlemen, gentlemen, surely we aren't the sort of people who believe in this sort of thing. I mean, next you'll be telling me is that washing your hair in bat's droppings stops you going bald. |

Seinfeld, hands down. I also enjoy Newsradio. It's a pretty overlooked series. I use to stay up at night catching the reruns while everyone else had gone to bed. |

So many, but black adder and fawlty towers are my favourite and I loved them whilst growing up. I am always torn between being pleased F.T has only 12 epidoses (and then never had time to become unfunny like so many other tv comedies that outrun their course), or that Cleese and Booth had made more, 12 never seems like enough!
