If you're a fan of the classic music show, though, it's the kind of news you'll want to shout from the rooftops.

Not seen on the BBC since 1988, the show will return on 23 February for a special live edition.

Billed as "a glorious evening of live music performances from some of the show's favourite musicians", the three-hour show will feature music from Peter Frampton, Richard Thompson and Albert Lee.

Other guests will include Dave Stewart, Joan Armatrading, Kiki Dee and DJ Danny Baker."

We just recently brought you some word where writer/director Don Mancini let us in on a Chucky in a WWII setting idea that he has. While that would be a wild situation to witness, there is much bigger news to pass along.

Mancini revealed to B-D that he is in fact developing a CHILD’S PLAY television series with producer David Kirschner.

While everything is obviously very tight lipped at the moment, Mancini did manage to say that series would pick up right where CULT OF CHUCKY leaves off.

He added:

“We plan to use Child’s Play in the title. We want to definitely signal that we are going dark, darker than ever before. It’s going to be very creepy. “

The CHILD’S PLAY franchise celebrated it's 30th Anniversary this year.

We will continue to keep you informed of the CHILD’S PLAY TV series as it unfolds.

Here's when Ash vs Evil Dead season 3 will air in the UK
Chainsaws at the ready.

Ash vs Evil Dead has bagged itself a season three UK return date.

Today (February 12), Virgin Media announced that the STARZ Original horror-comedy will return to Virgin TV on demand on Monday, February 26.

The season will comprise ten half-hour episodes, with a new episode launching every Monday to run day and date with the US schedule.

A synopsis for the third series reads: "Ash, having gone from urban legend to hometown hero, discovers that he has a daughter who has been entrusted in his care. Whilst Kelly witnesses a massacre with their unpredictable foe Ruby's fingerprints all over it, she returns to warn Ash and Pablo that evil isn't done with them yet."

"The return of Ash vs Evil Dead for a third series is a welcome reward for the show's fast-growing and enthusiastic fan base," said David Bouchier, chief entertainment officer at Virgin Media.

"The impressive production line-up have delivered a plotline that's gone from strength to strength and this new series is no exception."

Ash vs Evil Dead series three will be available from February 26 to Virgin TV customers with More TV and above packages.
