BLACK LIGHTNING S1 EP19 "Shadow of Death: The Book of War"
(Season Finale)

Proctor sends multiple agents to the cabin where all the Pierce family are hiding. Black lightning and Thunder fight the team outside while Peter, Lynn and Jennifer hold off the agents inside..

When this series first started I was unsure about continuing watching. But here at the end of the series it has been a great ride. This has become my third favourite CW show after ARROW and SUPERGIRL. Really good final episode.

ARROW S6 EP 19 "The Dragon"

Diaz and Laurel go out in search of 'The Quadrant', a mix of various Mafia families. Diaz wants in the group and also revenge on a man from his past.
Meanwhile, With Team Arrow no more, Oliver continues his lone crusade..

Focusing almost entirely on Diaz this is a great episode. It also is the most violent episode of ARROW so far as Diaz and Laurel leave a sea of bodies behind them. Excellent !

Been very good so far, well after lots of familiar British faces, well acted and directed etc.

Thanks for the extra information – it's always good to put extra info and opinions so those reading are in a better position to decide whether to spend time and/or money watching the TV show mentioned.

I'm confused by the link because it is takes me to a Kindle book.

I forgot to post it's an adaptation of the book, it's started getting very gory when the beastie turns up.

Is this the TV series you are talking about?

If it is, I'm interested know whether it suffers the fate of other long form horror series which, without the constricted runtime of a film, can get a little bogged down in back story and unnecessary character development rather than focusing on atmosphere, tension, and scares.

I haven't seen any of the recent series of The Walking Dead, but that seems to suffer because it's been on for so long – compare it to one of Romero's zombie films and they are far more intense.

I've got and seen the first four series of The Walking Dead and it's been a gripper so far and just gets better and better.

However i've also got series 6 so intend to buy series 5 then watch the two together then leave it alone as others on here seem to have grown disillusioned with it after that.

Seasons 7 and 8 are still worth watching IMO, but I think Fear the Walking Dead is shaping up to be better than the Walking Dead, the last season was awesome and this one looks to be even better
