Breaking bad

Definitely one of the best series every made. Fascinating to watch the character of Walter change from a likeable person into what has to be what is one of the most evil characters in television history. All thanks to the fantastic acting of Brian Cranston. We also hav skyler who starts off as a bitch but I found my self a lot more sympathetic towards her as the show went on. Truly a classic that will be remembered for years to come.

What breaking bad character are you. I got Walt so god knows what that says about me!

I did the quiz some time ago and think I was Jesse. Coincidentally, I did another one on who I should go out drinking with, and that was Jesse as well!

I recently watched the first series of Desperate Housewives, which I had avoided because of one reason or another (I can't remember exactly why), but really enjoyed it and thought it was brilliant TV. Because it was also on Lovefilm instant watch, I gave the first season of Ugly Betty a watch and didn't think much of it – I couldn't relate to any of the characters, circumstances or situations, and only stuck it out to the end of the season because I didn't want to give up!

I'm currently watching the second season of House of Cards, which is one of the finest television dramas of recent years.

Been loving the recent reruns of Columbo on ITV3 and CH5 just now, and a recent Graham Norton Show with Bill Murray and Matt Damon was a joy to watch, and out of left field... Longmire has turned out rather good too, but stuff like Top Gear has dropped to such a degree it seems pointless. (used to really like the camaraderie between the three but now it seems stiff and forced, shame)

Just finished season one of FRINGE and have started the second one. Really enjoying it and it makes a nice change from all the porn and martial arts films I've been watching of late!

Just started watching house of cards on netflix. Really enjoying it mainly thanks to Kevin spacey performance. Only watch a few episodes but it's some of the best tv since breaking bad. Anyone who haven't watched it, I would say give it a chance you won't be disappointed. Quality television at its best.

I'm currently working my way through season 5 of CSI.

Although good there isn't much of an ongoing arc to make you desperate to see the next episode. Still i'm sure the two part Tarantino directed finale will be good.

I've just finished watching the penultimate episode of season 2 (it's a bit late to start watching the hour-long finale) and, like you say, it's brilliant. If you haven't seen the BBC miniseries (and To Play the King and The Final Cut), it is compulsory viewing.

Please tell me you're all watching True Detective! This is something really special, think an 8 hour movie masterpiece rather than a TV show. Where to start with this? How about McConnaghey and Harrelson? You won't see two better screwed up cops - Matthew McC in particular is stunning. The music is spot on - Wu Tang Clan, Grinderman and The Melvin's in Ep 4 alone. It's creepy, really creepy - who or what s The Yellow King?- don't ask me, haven't finished it yet - I refuse to binge on something so rich. Action? Last 20 mins of Ep 4 (I loved Ep 4, can you tell?) rivals Children of Men as the most amazing non stop one shot scene ever filmed. The locales and cinematography are dazzling, the settings aren't what you'd call pretty but are filmed like oil paintings. I could ramble for pages - just don't miss this show. Hannibals pretty amazing too. We are truly spoiled just now.

Me and the other half watched, and really enjoyed the first episode, but turned off the second after about half an hour due to boredom. I've told her we need to give it another try because I'm hearing nothing but outstanding praise for it, so we're gonna try again this weekend

Unfortunately Sky Atlantic isn't on the Virgin Media package, so I can't. I'll have to wait until it's released on Blu-ray.
