The last TV show i watched was 'The Owl Service' as recommended by MTDS - T'was great. So a friend of mine has been banging on about a TV show called 'A;ways sunny in Philadelphia' I would like to say it was bad but me and the other half have watched all 9 seasons on Netflix in about two days. Danny DiVito is legendary and so much fun to watch. All the cast do such a great job with each episode and Charlie Day owns the set along with DiVito.

Honestly i haven't laughed at a TV show this hard for many years. i really have loved it.

Been watching Star Trek phase 2 in prepartion for there new episode on the first of December, its a fan made show that continues where the original series ended. It grows in leaps and bounds with each episode as the script, editing, special effects improve with each new episode. The episodes with George Takei and Walter Koenig are both good. 7/10

On the last two Saturdays i've watched a bbc2 programme called Tomorrow's worlds- The unearthly history of science fiction, basically a history of science fiction focusing mainly on films.
Each episode focuses on a particular angle, first episode is space travel and alien worlds, second ep is alien invasion, pretty enjoyable i thought and covers most of the main film favourites.
Only downside is that the presenter likes to reveal the stories endings, which i would imagine is pretty annoying if i hadn't seen the relevant films.
There's another 2 episodes left and it's available on iplayer at the moment, might come in handy for those who are still making their cult labs top sci fi lists.

I find myself hooked on the re-runs of the censored Nash Bridges on CBS Action, so much better than the vastly over rated almost camp Walker Texas Ranger with it's cod moral stance on just about everything, just wish Chuck would kick-ass for 45 mins instead
Longmire also has me glued, and a mention should go to Drama for showing classic Dr Who(even if it's in weird 2hr chunks as if the story is one long episode)

Just finished watching the latest episode of the Foo Fighters' Sonic Highways TV series. Great series, with each episode showing the band record a different track from the album of the same name in a different city, featuring Dave Grohl interviewing notable musicians from said city and getting one or two of them to guest on the track.
The latest episode was Seattle, so obviously Grunge and Sub Pop records feature heavily. It even brought a tear to my eye hearing everyone reminisce about Kurt Cobain's death, made me remember that I'd literally just learnt how to play Nirvana's Heart Shaped Box on guitar a week before he died.
This got me thinking how different my life would be right now if I hadn't picked up a guitar in January 1994 and thought "I'm gonna teach myself how to play this thing!". I certainly wouldn't be in a rock band or working in a studio for an independent record label as their main producer/engineer!

Anyway, enough of the deep shit!
