Just finished season 4 of Orange is the New Black, no spoilers but it's gripping and the second best season so far... (season 2 is the best).

The climax of the final episode was everything.

another show i need to add the pile, at least it only has 10 or so episodes and i much prefer shows that have that number compared to a full season where half of it just filler

I'm halfway through at the moment (just started episode seven and will watch the eighth this evening) and it is as you described it.

The calibre of acting on that show is something else, aside from Piper obviously but even she's better in this season.

I need to go and watch some episodes of Batman now because the finale was so explosive i'm stressed out

It's 13 per season but the episodes are at least an hour long, the opening and closing episodes are sometimes 90 mins, but like you say there is no filler, there is no room to have filler.

I know there are other shows with a similar demographic (Girls, The L Word etc.), but the fact there is a high quality show which not only passes the Bechtel Test, but does so with flying colours, is a cause for celebration in a male dominated industry.
