I started watching Hap and Leonard last night on Amazon Video.
Based on a series of novels by Texan author Joe R.Lansdale it follows the adventures of two best friends Hap Collins and Leonard Pine, James Purefoy and Michael Kenneth Williams respectively. Described as 'swamp noir' I thoroughly enjoyed the first two episodes and look forward to watching some more.

Sounds interesting. I really like James Purefoy. He was great in Rome and as Solomon Kane. A real anti-hero by definition.

Watched the first disc of tales of the unexpected like them all apart from William and Mary with lamb to the slaughter and the landlady being my favourites.

Man, are you nuts?

William and Mary is brilliant. Roald Dahl at his quirky best.

Still this is coming from someone who said Michael Hordern spoiled Whistle and I'll Come To You.

I must be as found it poor compared the other story's , with perhaps the first story, I ended up watching whistle and I'll come to you again after changed sound settings and enjoyed it more than the first viewing.
