Sheldon got on my nerves a bit in series three that's why i never watched series four until about 18 months later, but they seem to have toned down his annoying traits a bit now. Obviously he's always annoying but that's who he is, i meant beyond his usual.

Think I gave up after about season 4 as it was the same old story lines regurgitated all the time none of the characters evolved in any way.

Give me Seinfeld, curb my enthusiasm, always sunny in Philadelphia, how I met your mother,cheers or Frasier any day of the week over that show.

I'll give you Curb Your Enthusiasm (Larry's actually way more annoying than bloody Sheldon - but i've watched the majority of that before). I never bothered with Frasier after buying the first series, Cheers i'm not fussed about, and i haven't seen any of the others at all.
