I have never met anyone who dislikes Red Dwarf.

Thus I must conclude that I am the only person who hates it!

The first 2 series are the best by far; the whole Steptoe and Son In Space angle before it got bogged down in the sci-fi element of it. The last 2 series are utterly woeful and devoid of any sort of humour. The Back to Earth special? It didn't happen

Some people prefer the later episodes 5-6 ect. Not me, I like the first three best. Dont mind the sci-fi angle but that was done better in the books. (great reads.)

loved red dwarf back in the day was obsessed with the series ,pity they continued after writer Rob Grant left it. Series seven and eight absolute shite.
the dave special was pretty awful, sadly more on the way unless by some minor miracle Rob Grant comes back on board they should let it die.

The first trailer for series 10 was released the other day:

Doesn't look too bad, certainly a lot better than Back to Earth

This was always a series I felt like I should enjoy more.
Beside's the occasional tickle it was never anything more than comfert viewing for me. I dont know why, a Sci-Fi comedy, right up my ally. But for one reason or another I just never got the bug. It's not a bad series, and i can see why so many people adore it, but for me it was just a charming TV presense, as apposed to a comedy gold mine.

You just don't like comedy is all, right?
This and Only Fool's and Horse's are shite, right?
As I explained above, not as big a fan of Red Dwarf as I should be, but it's certainly not shite. That Carry On 'My Family' is much worse (and I adore the first few season's of that show!).

I used to love Red Dwarf, my favourite episode was the one where everything was backwards, especially the pub fight scene or Cat going for a piss ha ha
