You'd be entirely correct. It was 4 hr (with commercials) mini-series, shown over 2 nights.

Early Vipco are great, but the later black covers were just pointless. Personally i'd like to see some Palace/Medusa covers.

The covers with just writing were a bit off, i remember them being so much cheaper that i got them anyway, after the VHS crash i moved house and had to leave over 2000 VHS mainly old horror films and one of them was 'the black cat' on betamax, that had a good painted cover. I found a photo of my house with my wall to ceiling VHS collection, it's grainy but you can see eventually my room was wallpapered with VHS then the stairs became wallpapered too. haha, i had an obsession. (see photo) i will try and add some of my vipco vhs covers as i saved a limited amount of VHS that i couldn't part with. UNLESS you guys choose Medusa/Palace vhs which i have a few of too, i like all three of those distributors.

Out of that lot I would say I Never Promised you a Rose Garden is the rarest of them all to find. I still have a few WB (approx 20 odd) The artwork on them is far superior to their DVD counterparts imo. |

I've included some photos of my Warner Home Video collection. There's some extremely rare titles in there. Both pre and post-cert. It's taken a good 25 yrs to develop this collection, and trackdown some of the more rarer titles. Last edited by hivemind; 17th July 2016 at 12:24 PM. |
