It was listed as a DVD rather than a Blu/DVD combo so that could be the reason.

It has just been confirmed that this release has restored all previously censored scenes.

These include the restoration of...

SPOILER ALERT!
  • The Graveyard stumps
  • Eyeball Surgery
  • Brain Sawing
  • Glass in throat
  • and Mad Dancing/Monster torn apart & shot of dead monster

Basically, almost all the previously cut stuff that was put back in the German DVD. Excellent news!

Horray! Not long now, Dave. Have you seen Frankenstein And The Monster From Hell before? It's such a wonderful release - 3 discs, packed with extras and totally uncut!

Yeah, seen it loads of times. Really looking forward to this release. Great looking box. Making room on my shelf now. Out with the old dvd...in with the new. I have the Warner video around here somewhere as well.
