A film I blind-bought on release of the DVD back in 2008 based solely on the strength that it was directed by Eugenio Martin (the director of Horror Express): I didn't regret it. Great atmosphere, religious nastiness, and some decent performances.

For me it has to be NotLD that's the worst. It took me years before I could sit through it from beginning till end without falling asleep.

You've got me thinking on whether I should include these in my list now, Frankie... |

My definition is pretty broad, and maybe most wouldn't include aforementioned, but... intensity, excess, surrealism, bad shit happening... that's what I look for in 'horror', anyway.

My definition is pretty similar, which is why you've got me thinking about adding those two to my list now! |

That would tie at number 3.

Got a list of 75 so far, but I'm having doubts over... Blue Eyes of the Broken Doll Flesh for Frankenstein Scream and Scream Again Not 'great' films by any means, but they belong on my list cause I like em so much, by the time I get to 100 they might get bumped off the list as they're near the bottom, but in for now.

Everybody watch Equinox. I am down on my knees begging you to watch Equinox. Maybe the most fun of all the horror films of the 70s. Nowhere near as bad as a serious-pants critic would probably lead you to believe.

Look at my list above, I've included Equinox. Possibly the film that provided the inspiration for Evil Dead. Group of youngsters arrive at a remote cabin expecting to find their professor there, but things are afoot. Sound familiar?
