I must admit if the threads aren't active for polls then i'll probably lose interest and, or, forget about them.

That's a very long term plan

I have enough trouble seeing enough films to compile a list for the current year. I'll probably finish my seventies one, do the sixties one over the next few months, and leave it at that for now . . .

That's a very long-term plan! I hope the threads remain active with discussion about people's lists, the films others rate but some haven't seen and what he thought of them went they (inevitably) bought the DVD/BD and they stay that way so new members are aware of their existence so they can put up their own lists.

At least this way, it gives me a chance to do a 1980s list as I missed the cut off date for that one and more time to properly think about each decade, spending a few weeks or months to come up with a definitive top 25.

Hey everybody, my plans for lists obviously fell through as I wasn't active on here for awhile, however I'd like to come back and maybe run something like this again. We could try doing the 70s horror list again if we have some interest. What do you say?

Sounds great - the lists were really enjoyable and promoted some good conversation.

I'll have to look at maybe tweaking my list as no doubt my opinion may have shifted a little since I originally made it.

Sounds good to me. I think my list from before will be exactly the same now, but I will have to check.
