Anyone able to confirm as to whether Ken's death has changed matters regarding the cut/def when it comes to the Devils release?

I haven't heard anything, and I'd be very surprised. If Warner Bros didn't want to license the 2004 version when he was still around to kick up a fuss about it, it's not wildly likely that they'd change their minds now.

Obviously, if I hear anything different, I'll let you know.

Do you seriously think Warners will give a damn about the unfortunate Ken Russell's death?
Or even care about the uncut version on dvd and or blu ray
These people are heartless and are just in it for the money, nothing else

like someone else said about Clive Barker's NIGHTBREED
Warner again are not interested in releasing the uncut Directors cut as they say the film hasn't any fanbase or whatever, but they have re-released it on Warner Archives!

Nunsploitation films are a dime a dozen, but the 1961 Polish film Mother Joan of the Angels is a very good companion piece to The Devils. Its not nearly as wild as Ken Russell's film, but its well worth seeing for the wonderful inventive camerawork and the strange and spooky atmosphere...

Well, if we're recommending similar Polish films, Andrzej Zulawski's Devil (Diabel) often is as wild as The Devils...

Has that been released on DVD anywhere? I can't find any sign of it.

The Kawalerowicz film was also based on Huxley, I think.

The superb Mondo Vision plan to release it sometime in the future, it's probably going to be a while yet, but it'll be worth it!
