Competition

One of my favourite British horrors this. I have the 2 disc Director's Cut from Warner Bros. where you can watch the spliced in 'missing footage'. Great performances all round, and an epic sense of eeriness and impending doom... fantastic film.

A superb film. No question.

I wonder how this would have fared with first choice Michael York as Howie? I just couldn't have seen it working as well. Especially during the harbour or classroom scenes.

Woodward was perfect V.I can't imagine anyone else bar him and Lee playing off one another.How do you think Peter Cushing would have fared in the roll?

Michael Deeley needs a slap! The bastard buried the negative under the M6!

Who's with me to dig up that road ! We need to see the full, really complete version. Although the "Director's Cut" is excellent, there is still a lot missing so it'd be nice to see the footage unearthed.
