Yeah,Moriarty starred in the third installment. John Ryan gave a very serious performance as the father of the mutant baby,no mean feat when you consider the somewhat ridiculous premise of a newborn killer with a taste for human flesh!

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, need I say more? In my world of horror the saw is the law.Probably first saw some truly bad copy of it,all dark and shitty, but it kept coming back DVD after DVD,and finally a really good BD by Dark Sky.My appreciation to Black Christmas must also be stated.

Hands down it's The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. I don't even need to state my case.

Good as some of the other options are (Black Christmas, The Perfume Of The Lady In Black) it has to be The Texas Chainsaw Massacre - too well made and too important not to take the prize.

The Living Dead at Manchester Morgue. One of my favorite zombie films.

I don't think anyone could make a case against The Texas Chain Saw Massacre.

Of course, another grubby British release in this year was Pete Walker's FRIGHTMARE.....Bet those posters gave the do-good-brigade a few sleepless nights!

I'd like to think so. In fact Sheila Keith could be mistaken for a demented Mary Whitehouse on that poster with the drill!

Yeah,I'm sure that's who Walker was taking a swipe at....someone should ask him. That'd be a good question to hit him with! There's a good interview with him on the Schizo Blu Ray.

The first time i saw Walkers films i loved them. For some reason i've really gone off them now though, i much prefer the more varied work of Norman J.
