The Rob Zombie Remake was really good, especially the first half. The sequel less so but it wasn't that bad. Compared to the Nightmare on Elm Street Remake (ugh) and Friday the 13th Remake (meh) it was amazing anyway.

I think it looks promising, but no doubt most people will slag it off because that’s the done thing these days

Because of the talent involved (Carpenter and Curtis),I think it'll be great!

A lot of references in there to other installments in the series eh?

If the original Halloween came out today people would even complain about it. I imagine they'd take particular issue in every single comments section with the whole "maybe someone around here gave him lessons" thing, turning it into a massive big deal.

On a better note the trailer looks amazing. Can't wait.
