Watched this just now. Its made me feel really grim to be honest. Good film, but thoroughly nasty. Anyone else watched it yet?

I wouldn't say it was that grim or even that violent, I was expecting more violence, especially after she first got introduced to the mother. Nothing seems to shock me with films and this was no exception, there were a couple of gross out moments but apart from that it was your usual survival horror fare - that's pleasingly becoming a more regular thing now - strongly influenced by '70s horror cinema. A good film overall with that unmistakable glum '70s feel, it gets two thumbs up from me. Oh and this film was especially good to watch because I used to go out with a lass from Bedfont and her house was literally a 5 minute walk from Heathrow airport. It's a really nice place and seeing the nearby surroundings brought back some memories for me. Anyway... Having watched the extras it was interesting to see how influenced the director was by Pete Walker (Frightmare in particular), I'm gonna be keeping an eye on his future work, he seems to have the right attitude towards what makes a good film.
