Uzumaki (2000)

One of my faves from the Asian horror scene. Although it did get a little cartoony at times, I thought there were moments in this movie that were sheer nightmare fuel (I'm thinking primarily of the scene in which the snail-kids are crawling up the side of the school . . . something about the grainy video footage of said event got under my skin in a big way). I bought the manga a while back, and it's great stuff. Still need to read the third volume, though.
