Martyrs is still sitting in the to watch pile,although i did have the balls to sit through all 2 hours and 35 minutes of rossa venezia on monday night...Jeez!!

The sov look does tend to take some of the impact from the flick,but its not one i'll be revisiting soon. Andreas packs almost every scene with as much sleaze sex and filth,and the odd gore scene as thought possible. Its way overlong though!!

One of the sickest French films I've seen for quite a while now. Highly recommended for those looking for a sick and disturbing film.

Yes i agree martyrs started of ok then descended in a bit repetivness for around 20 min ..2nd half got dull and boring realy

Yeah,that 'revelation' ending disappointed me as well.The first half of the film was INTENSE,like a sledgehammer to the head.
The finale,somewhat descended into 'torture porn'.
