I went to see this last night and it's not bad! I've always been intrigued by festive horrors so had to check this one out. Unfortunately, the fact this is set at Christmas is fairly incidental in this film - it's just a standard 'kids turned evil' flick (reminiscent of Bloody Birthday or even Omen II). Still, it's quite creepy at the beginning and fairly gory for a 15, despite the camera cutting away at some of the nastier bits. All in all, a pretty good, low-key brit-horror and worth checking out IMO. Anyone else seen this? |

Saw it last week and found it really good, although it was quite uncomfortable viewing at times.

Yeah, I saw it too. It's well done, and avoids turning to parody with some good acting, and chilling set pieces. The kids were quite a marvel, and were genuinely creepy.

Was this film just a remake of The children of Ravensback.

And its never fully explained where the substance which changes the kids came from, although the film certainly has its fair share of nastiness. There's something about seeing killer kids or children being killed on film whether they are nasty little shits or not, that just does not seem or feel right.Maybe its just moi! |
