Well I guess us 'young-uns' (I think 24 counts as young ish) have very good (bad? ) film taste despite our meagre years. The good news is that everyone on this forums is young enough to watch & collect cult filmage for many more years to come

Am I right in thinking that Arrow's 2-DVD SE of City of the Living Dead will feature ALL the exact same special features as the BD/DVD release? Also will the new Arrow DVD feature a re-mastered transfer of the movie or will it have the same transfer as the older Blue Underground/Anchor Bay DVD's? Cheers

All the extra features that are on the Blu Ray are also going on the DVD.

The master will be new and improved - Arrow and Blue Underground split the costs of remastering the film for the new release.

I'm sure I've seen you say that somewhere before, but it's always good to know that this will have the best picture seen anywhere, even including cinema releases.

I can't wait for this set to be released and every post makes my anticipation levels rise!

I saw it on the cinema in the 80's and dear Mr Ferman had drilled a hole in the drill scene.

I know there's really no replacement for seeing a film on the big screen but when they are butchered like that, it makes an uncut DVD/Blu-ray release that bit more special - especially when you have a decent sized screen and audio setup at home.

I saw it at the flicks back then too, vince. Another marvellous piece of 'editing' by failed director Ferman

Now that I've spent £130 and discovered the XT Boxset from Germany uses the German artwork
I'm CHOKING for Arrow's cool artwork.
