Yep - I'll need to re-mortgage the house at this rate...

I'm still sussing players out but I'm steering towards getting a Panasonic.

I've pre-ordered my Arrow 2-DVD set from HMV's website, I'll also get the Blue Underground BD set at a later date as I want both sets of extras for my favourite Fulci horror.

Smile

I've had both the DVD and BR editions of Fulci's beloved brain-squisher on pre-order for a good while now and i'm glad the time is almost upon us for COTLD to rise again better than ever.

I must admit the ltd. ed. German gift set looks a feast for the eyes but i believe this version will definitely lose out to Arrow's release in pretty much every department. Audio, video and certainly bonus material.

I'd still have this European edition though purely for it's collectablility. Shame i don't have the financial resources necessary to meet the excessive cost of this release!

I'll be getting the BU version as well for the extras. You can never have too many extras as far as I'm concerned.

+1

These are the kind of movies where extras are actually fun to watch. I almost NEVER go through the extras on new movies since most of it is just stupid featurettes to sell the movie and tell us what was shot in front of a greenscreen and patting each other on the backs while smiling so hard their teeths almost fall out

This may seem a rather obvious question, but what's the best place to get the Blue Underground set from?
