The anamorphic one is less than $10 new so I think that makes it pretty worthless like most dvd's these days. Apart from deleted titles dvd's are not worth very much. Buying movies on dvd now is throwing money down the drain apart from selected titles. You can get Blurays regularly for under £7 - where does that put dvd? |

Sure, I´ve been buying all the classics on Blu-Ray (Hellraiser, Dawn Of The Dead, Day Of The Dead, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Halloween, etc.), but I only buy them after I have them on DVD. The detail and information it´s outstanding. For Arrow´s Inferno, I have a pre-oder for the Dvd and Blu-Ray. Same thing for City Of The Living Dead, where I bought both formats. For me, when watching a classic movie, I don´t get the same kick watching the Blu-Ray as I have watching the Dvd... maybe it´s a personal thing. |

Yes I think when dvd came along it was such a kick to finally be able to watch recorded content in the same quality as we were used to with broadcasting. Even LD didn't quite reach the standard of broadcast tv so it was fantastic to watch shows on discs that were as good as we had ever been able to watch them at anytime. DVD was such an improvement over VHS which had always been crap that we felt it was a real treat . Not forgetting the ease of use , chapters etc . Bluray is not such a leap. Bluray also not helped by the inferior transfers we sometimes get and also the extra definition shows up the grain and other things we're not used to seeing on home video. I don't get as excited by a Bluray release like I did with dvd but I still prefer to watch the classics like the Harryhausen films in HD if the option is there. DVD's are increasingly worthless so rather than sell them now for peanuts I'm hanging onto mine in the hope that in 10 years when many will be deleted I'll get a decent price and they may also be of nostalgic interest in the same way as LD's can be today There will be huge amount of material never released on Bluray like most British tv shows of the last 50 years (bar the ITC shows of the 60's) and a few others |

Rick's new Tenebrae cover is superb and definitely gets my seal of approval. Great job! |

The Dutch 'Shadows' illustration gets my vote too for a potential U.K. Tenebrae cover. I must admit i'm getting a little tired of seeing the traditional artwork for the film featuring the female with the slit throat. |

That 'Unsane' artwork is excellent and personally i'd love to see this design gracing Arrow's Tenebrae release. Along with those similarly cracking covers mentioned previously. I've got both the old and new ABUS editions of Argento's slashfest along with ABUK's equivalent. If i'm not mistaken there's an additional vintage interview with the director and Daria Nicolodi (i think!) on the latter. Also propping up my collection of Tenebrae DVDs are Sazuma's version, Germany's double disc set and the R4 Australian contribution. This last release as part of a three DVD 'Argento Classics' collection together with Phenomena and Deep Red. |

I'd say these 3 are may favourites out of the ones posted.Although tbh,it's not much of a variety. The first 2 have similar images and the 3rd is similar to the art from Rick.

The problem with Tenebrae, is that it didn't seem to produce much variation in the film poster artwork worldwide; probably due to the very few iconic, poster-worthy scenes present within the film. That said, it is certainly my favourite Argento, and I already own 3 copies of it: The ABUK, and both the Raptor releases. I will definitely be buying an Arrow copy, but I am hoping that the copy will be on Blu-Ray... |
