I think that's the most recent one made. The Italian dvd does look sharper than the BU one but the colours look a bit pale. But it could be that I'm so used to the BU one that I can't judge it clearly. Oh well, we have to wait a bit more that 2 weeks and then we'll have the blu-ray

Here is a screen comparison between the Anchor Bay/Blue Underground dvd and the Arrow Blu-Ray.

The Arrow image has more information on all sizes.

I really don't see any difference, did you post the same picture by mistake or am I going blind?

That sometimes the problem with posting still images as there is sometimes only a tiny bit of difference between the two that will go unnoticed when the picture is moving. My guess is you can get someone and put them in front of two monitors, one playing the Blue Underground BD in the other playing the Arrow release and they will either point out that the Arrow one is the BU one or be honest and say that they can't tell the difference between them.

The Arrow screencap there is noticebly sharper. Can't wait to see what the BD looks like!

Here's dvdbeavers review/comparison between the Arrow and BU discs.

EDIT: Just saw that the dvdbeaver link had already been posted.

Ya know, TBH I prefer the look of the AB release! The blacks look much deeper. The Arrow looks a little over-bright. Only my preference.

Anyway, don't really bother me as I have pre-ordered the BD anyway.

However, the extras are more than weighted in Arrow DVD release, which is great.

You've got to be kidding! You'd only have to look at the first picture, where the Arrow DVD has the dreamy soft-focus quality the scene is supposed to have and which is totally absent from the AB disc. The deeper blacks are actually destroying every kind of detail, see for example the wall on the last shot, the difference in the red dress of Irene or the lack of illumination of the fire. It seems to me the AB is slightly boosted.
