A diabolical cover for a film that deserves a lot more respect - it's Mario Bava not a cheap monster movie! As a business and marketing graduate I understand grabbing folks attention with the cover - but giallos of that era had wonderful and at times lurid artwork so why not go with one of those and make it the main cover and have Rick's work as the flipside!

Hmm,it's not shockingly bad but I can't say I'm thrilled,Rick has done some much better ones (and also some much worse ones).

Btw I thought this one wouldn't have Rick's artwork?

I've read a lot of negative reactions to the Inferno artwork on the net and I'm expecting some more with this one...
Thank goodness there are alternative covers.

Want to see Rick's art? Here's panel 1 of 4!

Would I seem a little twisted If I said that it would have been better with her having her throat slit open and blood pouring out? Perhaps that would have made it a bit more acceptable?

Nope, it wouldn't - cuzt you're right.

The artwork is really nice indeed and does look nice but I can't see it fit the movie and ... more importantly, while stuff like Inferno still looks absolutely stunning and plain awesome, this is one of the more simple/boring artworks of the AV series so far.

I'm surprised: I think it's one of Rick's finest so far! Not up there with his work for "Martin", but better than most of his others.

I'll sit this one out!

The beauty of Arrow films is the choice.

I'll bet the other three will cause jubilation!

Depends which sits looking at us from the HMV shelves tho Reaps ... don't want a classic movie that defined the slasher genre to be a laughing stock! Perhaps in the typeface was red.

Why argue when we can all watch cute animals eating stuff instead?

Life is better now, yes?

As Reaper says there are four covers. Roll on tomorrow's choice!

I think it's a very good piece of art -- but not for Mario Bava's A BAY OF BLOOD. Perhaps for an Arrow release of DAGON, but not BAY.
