Really like the second artwork but the point still remains the first is awlful and I feel it is a big mistake to use it as panel 1, which is the main visulal to sell the film. Having four cover options is a great idea, but having these Arrow commisioned covers should be simply that; an option. I don't think they should be the main cover that are displayed in the shops etc...

I can see it now: "We won't be releasing any more Mario Bava films on blu ray because of the poor sales of Bsy of Blood" I'm not gone on the other art to be honest, it's ok as a picture but I wouldn't look at it and know what film it was for. |

Maybe true but Inferno sales have been very strong and that's not been the most beloved sleeve to date...

Yes, but people are going to look at this in store and think it's some crappy Z-grade monster movie. I know Arrow are loyal but can't they, just for once, use original art on the cover?

There is an octopus in a key scene and there are hot dames in it. Seems entirely appropriate to me. Possibly because I've seen it so many times I do not think "giant octopus" or "critter flick" at all. I see a nice artistic representation for "Bay Of Blood". And who buys a DVD solely based on the front cover without reading the back? I think there have been a lot of over-reactions to that artwork. |

The BBFC waived all previous cuts at the end of August.
