As it is 1.85:1, there are black bars, but they're so small that if you put the subtitles in them, they'd be impossible to read!

Doink!

Cheers folks, had totally forgotten to factor in the 1.85:1........must have been watching too many 2.35:1 flicks recently.

Based on the disapproval surrounding the PQ on Arrow's Tenebrae it looks like i'll be enjoying this release much more for the packaging and extras than the film's visual presentation itself. But only time will tell, i suppose.

When you do decide to watch it, try and forget the reviews and Internet comments (both positive and negative) about the disc and view it with an open mind so you can make your own opinion.

You're right but God only knows when i'll get around to checking out this edition. The main thing right now is that the relevant release is in my possession so that's another Arrow purchase crossed off the list.

By the time you get round to watching it, you may have forgotten all about the comments on here!

You're right about crossing titles of your list -- I have a list of Arrow titles I want (most of them DVD releases of BDs I only have just to see the difference) but the number is gradually shrinking.

Default Tenebrae – Technically Speaking

Judging by so called mixed reviews I've read for TENEBRE I'm still getting the Arrow blu ray.
Well, my girlfriend is as its my birthday soon
Looking forward to this and a few others.........

I've come to realize that I can't totally trust reviews of BD's....unless it's a review of the Predator: Ultimate Hunter Edition But seriously, I'll wait until I see Tenebrae beore I give my final verdict.

Let us know what you reckon! The weird grain is really blatant in many bits of the film but then again it does still have strong HD detail throughout. I'm sitting on the fence
