Just wasn't possible - Arrow really wanted to do a BD but the materials really weren't up to scratch. This DVD set though rocks though if you love the film.

Okay thats cool. Thats actulally pretty cool of you not putting it on the BD if it wasn't gonna be worth it and such. Will deff pick it up on wax. The packaging is always swanky on these releases.

I only have a handful of DVDs that are better than Martin -- all of those are special editions that came with steelbooks, lenticular frames, frames from the original negative or other stuff like that which I paid extra money for. In this case, it is a double-dip off the previous Arrow Films DVD but it is very well priced (available for only £9.99) and is the best DVD package of Martin available.

I see you've posted a link to my Top 10 Vampire Movies list at MyReviewer -- thanks!

It would be good if some of you signed up there so we could discuss the list using the comments facility.

Minor has been shipped from HMV! Although I already own one copy (thanks to the perks of being a moderator), that has the synchronisation problem on the 4:3 version so at least now I'll be able to have one version for the packaging and one for the discs!

I can't wait until it arrives as, although it has only been a couple of weeks since I saw it, I can't wait to watch it again with the correct sound.
