Totally agree. Faults must be addressed, and Arrow must react. They can't just ignore this flaw. I wouldn't give a damn about a missing frame or two, but as Stephen says, 6 seconds is 6 seconds.

Say, would anyone here be willing to sell just the steelbook case of this?

Or if I bought the steelbook, buy the discs, booklet and poster off me, or trade the discs for the 2 Arrow or Shriek Show DVDs?

I really want the case to complete the collection, but I don't want to pay £20 minimum, for a set I've already paid £18 for.

I've contacted Arrow via email and Facebook asking if it's completely OOP or if there'll be a second printing, but the fact that it's limited makes me think it's OOP

I'll be honest and say that losing the opening 6 seconds doesn't bother me. But, I still feel it's unacceptable and should be addressed by Arrow.

What I'm trying to say is that it didn't ruin the viewing experience for me, like losing 6 seconds of a pivotal gore set piece would have, but I still believe the film should be FULLY intact and I'd like to know why it isn't.

I do wonder if the seconds were removed when editing the final negative, but then reinstated on later home video releases following its theatrical run. Just speculating. I have no idea really. So I'll shut up now.

I was actually wondering if this is what Arrow would come back and say. Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if they do. I don't believe this is the case though.

It could be though, theres other little bits (mainly tisa farrow saying seeya to the cop a second time) that were missing from the origional vhs release but turned up in the import releases I picked up.. its impossible to say for certain but I think its worth arrow making some kind of statement on this!

More than being annoyed by it, I'm curious about how this happens too.

I'm sorry but I don't. Not one bit.

I can understand why you're frustrated, but I'm past the point of caring about these things.

Put it this way, the amount of hassle I had getting my LE edition, there's not a cat in Hells chance I'm sending it back to Arrow for a replacement if one becomes available, so unless they send them out then I'm quite happy to miss 6 seconds. I still think Arrow should address the situation though
