So I paid £14 for the steelbook from Amazon, £17.99 for the LE from Arrow, and now if I want the correct item that I paid for, I've got to fork out a further £15(because I have a spare steelbook won in a competiton) for the priviledge. I don't ****ing think so, as far as I'm concerned they can get ****ed, this is bang out of order!!

That is pretty crazy. I'm happy it's being fixed, so it can finally be the perfect release I hoped it would be, but I'm not so happy at paying £5. I respect that they're admitting the seriousness of the issue, and are communicating with us about it, but it doesn't feel right to be paying almost half of what I paid for the full product (£11). Perhaps if they'd included a lifetime valid voucher off their e-store for the same price (or at minimum £3) it wouldn't be so tough to swallow. It would be hassle, but surely there are better options? Returning our old discs will ensure the same situation with The Beyond won't happen. Or even doing what happened with The Cabin In The Woods, giving the replacements to retailers to mail to all their customers who ordered the product. The last is probably far from in Arrows best interests financially, but any of those would be preferable to this. |

Just cancelled my pre-orders of the LE Bava titles. Was tempted to do it anyway to save some money but have learnt my lesson about pre-ordering from them now so will wait for reviews to come in first. Sent a strongly-worded email about my disappointment with the current turn of events too

The legality of this is extremely dubious. I don't wish harm on Arrow, but I suggest anyone affected by this get in touch with Trading Standards. |

Yeah, they definitely can't actually do this. they've sold something which has a fault/isn't as advertised, they've admitted this, they have to replace them at no cost to the consumer.

I am currently talking to a lawyer friend about this online...

Marge Simpson: I'll sue the pants off you! Arrow mafioso: You don't have to sue me to get my pants off. |

So I have to spend £15 to replace my discs, since I bought all 3 editions that are now "faulty"? WOW! Just WOW! That won't be happening. And they wonder why they've gotten a less than stellar reputation?

Dreadful behaviour from Arrow. Also, how long will the 'faulty' copies be in circulation with the major online retailers? Basically, Arrow are saying to be guaranteed a 'fixed' copy that you need to buy it directly from them - at inflated prices (their webstore is usually more expensive than other online retailers). I'm astounded by this.
