I love the trailer:

CARNAGE AKA Bay of Blood, Twitch of the Death Nerve - YouTube

Now that's how you sell a film!

Well, I didn't like the Bay of Blood art, personally. I was in HMV with a friend of mine who's not really clued up on movies and he picked up A Bay of Blood and said something along the lines of 'Cool! A giant monster movie!' I assured him it wasn't that at all.

So right there is my problem, it's misselling the movie. In fact, I think it's a disservice to what the film actually is. It's a great movie and will sell itself, given a chance.

That's very true. The "Blood Bath" artwork features a larger Octopus than was featured in the film, so not sure what all the hate for Rick's was.

Probably in the fact that Rik's cover made it look like the octopus was the killer; chasing the girl down, and gives the impression that A Bay of Blood is a creature feature.

The cover above depicts an octopus covering a dead body - just like what occurs in the film.

I don't think Arrow have even officially announced it yet. So it'll be a while befiore it's out, I would imagine. Especially as we know the commentary by Jones and Thrower hasn't been recorded yet, so it's nowhere near ready for release at the moment.

Probably more infamous than famous. It's had a troubled history on UK shores, for certain. Pretty sure there was a nice uncut DVD included in the Box of the Banned, but it's not had a standalone uncut release, as far as I know. So this release from Arrow is well overdue.

It's going to sometime after the GFT screening at the end of August, so probably at least the end of September, October. Maybe even later.
