Black Fist

With a tag line like that how could I resist! I love blaxploitation movies. It's the music, the fashion, the hair and the ghetto kung fu action. I got sucked in by seeing Shaft at a young age but it's the less well known, cheaper and generally more exploititive ones that hold my interest now. Their more violent and tend have even more jive talking, choice dialogue then the slightly more elevated end of the genre.

Black Fist is such a movie, featuring all the funky thrills you could hope for. Leroy Fisk is a bad ass street fighter who works for the mob but is looking for a way to escape. One day, Leroy thinks, I'll have my own night-club. But the system wants to keep Leroy down. A corrupt cop teams up with our heroes crime boss in order to keep him under control. But Leroy isn't going to take it anymore. He's about to stick it to the man.

No ones gonna make a sucker out of Leroy Fink!

For fans of the genre, this film is a stone cold classic!
