Updator?

It's been a while, hasn't it? I've been avoiding you all because I needed to "sort my head out"! To do this I have been employing many methods; CBT (some use), Mindfullness (some use), Horticultural Therapy (in a big, peaceful garden, very useful), and a few courses (including 3-d printing and rustic stool making) with a lovely couple, Rachel and Steve, known as The Company of Makers https://www.companyofmakers.com/ (have a look at the stuff that Rachel produces out of old uniforms, she's a true artist of stitchcraft).
I am now a volunteer Peer Mentor with Veterans Outreach Support (VOS) in Portsmouth and I'm mentoring another veteran sailor who's been having problems. I am also renovating and refurbishing some old Ship's Crests for The Royal Maritime Club (RMC) here in Portsmouth, with the Company of Makers, as part of a Heritage Fund project. Part of the Project involves researching the history of the vessels behind the emblems, the emblems themselves and trying to get some stories (repeatable and printable ones)from peaple who've served on these ships and boats.
As you can see I'm pretty busy (and unpaid) with rewarding (but still unpaid) activities. There's a big project in the pipeline for The Company of Makers which I've been told I can get involved with and if the stories are true it may involve rum ().
I will try to commit some time to the Lab so your hopes of being rid of me are thwarted
