Cheers, I'll pick them up. Got this couple of weeks back. Really nice hardback with some fantastic colour illustrations interspersed throughout.

THe modern covers for Stephen king books are terrible.

Wish i'd kept hold of all that stuff now.

I still have a lot of my old King books with some of those covers.

When I used to live in Bath I always nipped into the Guildhall Market on my lunch breaks to pick up a few paperbacks (and sometimes the odd hardback) from their often ample selection of second-hand books.

I took a trip down there recently and was pleased to see the stall still there nearly a decade later.

Now that middle book.....that's what you call a cover!
If you're a fan of Lovecraft. 2 comics I would recommend are Alan Moores Neonomicon and Mike Mignolas The Doom that came to Gotham

Okay, Profondo Rosso, you asked for it.

Here are my sci-fi book club hardbacks from the 60's - the ones without dust jackets.

You'll notice authors like Heinlein, Blish, Simak, C Clarke, Aldiss, Asimov and Wyndham among them.

Dust jacket titles to come.

We was in lake district area today , and went in waterstones book shop and Sam looked at that , checked price and then said I'm having that but I'll check online etc see if can see it cheaper .
Me I just can't read books, don't get me wrong I do have some but they are all true stories , eg could be anything from Darwin awards, bizarre facts to killer kids , but also I can't read autobiographies either, mainly books where the stories are all short and got several stories in the book, I lose interest dead easy and don't have the attention span , and also when if I tried to read fiction I'm reading it but not taking it in enough to follow the story so after a while I kinda of lose myself and the story and start thinking who he again .
