If you ever give up on the whole humanistic approach and it's unconditional positive regard you could take a more behavioural approach and knock some sense into your clients with that hefty Rogers book!

We don't look at the behavioural approach in great detail, but do with psychodynamic and CBT in the second year, though the latter will involve studying theorists such as B.F. Skinner again.

Is there any Mindfulness in your course? That seems to be the hip therapy at the moment.

Yes, that's a technique used in CBT.

King is on another roll, his last three or four books have been a return to form, but Revival is the best of them. The ending actually left me a little shaken. |

I picked up a copy of David Cronenberg's Consumed last weekend. It somehow combines some of William Gibson's more recent work with that of J.G. Ballard. It is quite brilliant.

I did pick up Stephen King's Revival (the WHSmith's exclusive; although to be honest I can't see any difference), but it got stolen for Christmas. I always pick up my King stuff in physical copy, but for anyone who doesn't mind, it's currently only £2.99 on Kindle.
