I'm a Mark Kermode fan as well. I generally agree with his reviews and find his writing interesting and entertaining.

I too like Kermode.

I noticed my local The Works had Mayo and Kermode's Movie Doctors book for £6 hardback. Have you read it Vampix and do you recommend it?

I haven't read that unfortunately, but I'll get myself down to my branch of The Works tomorrow to see if I can pick up a copy.

Collectors stuff, really. I return to them every now and then for 10 pages or so, as i like my history, but Folio Society books are mainly for show. Bit like Sam Tyler's figures.

To be fair they're the sort of books I'd likely never read but would look great on the shelves if I had the room.

I received my "Videosyncratic" Kickstarter reward yesterday. Nicely designed book, is the same exact dimensions as a VHS tape.
