I know what you mean. It takes you out of the reading habit when it becomes a chore although i aim to sit down and read the last hundred pages either today or tomorrow.

I?ve been enjoying King?s ?You Like It Darker? about half way through now having just finished Danny Coughlin's Bad Dream which I thought was really good, it?d make a great film I think.

I find it a real chore to sit down with a novel these days. However, I do get through a few audiobooks as I drive a lot.

Currently listening to the The Damnation Game. It's my first Barker novel (I've read The Books of Blood) and enjoying it so far.

Jalbert! What a loon!

I thought it was a brilliant story.

I'm considering ordering Night Shift to read in October. I've never read it and don't own it but pretty much all of it has either been filmed or televised or is a sequel to Salem's Lot.

It's over a tenner for a paperback version so i think i'll pay the rrp of 10.99 and order it from my local branch of WH Smith rather than pay 80p less and have it mangled by Amazon.

It's not my listing, but E-Bay has a free postage, 'buy now' option for UK$4.99
