I know what you mean. It takes you out of the reading habit when it becomes a chore although i aim to sit down and read the last hundred pages either today or tomorrow.

I find it a real chore to sit down with a novel these days. However, I do get through a few audiobooks as I drive a lot. Currently listening to the The Damnation Game. It's my first Barker novel (I've read The Books of Blood) and enjoying it so far. |

Night Shift is a great collection of stories i definitely recommend that one!

It's over a tenner for a paperback version so i think i'll pay the rrp of 10.99 and order it from my local branch of WH Smith rather than pay 80p less and have it mangled by Amazon.
