I guess they'd reject The Texas Hagfish Massacre then.

I shudder when I think of the extreme cruelty that goes on in a flea circus.

Apparently the film Blood Sucking Fleas was rejected due to the whipping scenes.

The bbfc have just passed the BFI release of SICK - THE LIFE & DEATH OF BOB FLANAGAN, SUPERMASOCHIST uncut. The previous 2001 release suffered over 3mins of cuts.

This is what was cut last time(from their site):
Cuts required to two scenes showing strong sado-masochistic activity (asphyxiation, the piercing of the skin of the penis, the insertion of a large metal ball into the rectum, the hammering of a nail through the tip of the penis)

Sounds lovely dont it!

A similar, though less explicit, scene was once cut from the excellent Maitresse. Also now uncut.

A far better film than the above junk I might add.

Was that scene in Maitresse, genuine, Vince?

In Schraamm, the lead actor is seen hammering a nail through his genitals (very explicitly) in close up. Apparently a genuine shot performed by a double. Difficult to understand why somebody would do this for the sake of a film.

Those douche bags from Jackass and whatnot do it for sh*ts and giggles, so who knows why some people do it?! Ha.

Hard to say because the actual nailing is mostly obscured. Bulle Ogier's hand covers up the graphic stuff. The nipple piercing looks genuine though.

As unpleasant as the S&M footage is the worst scene for me was the shooting and throat slashing of a horse in an abattoir (not faked).

Yes I remember the scene with the horse, it was in the version that went out on C4 some years ago.
