I always assumed the bbfc shortened the dog fight at the start.

The film has never been cut by the BBFC. The opening dogfight was passed without problems for both cinema & video, so the BBFC possibly received proof that none of the dogs were harmed. They also passed shorter dog skirmishes in The Exorcist and (for DVD) Profondo Rosso once they received evidence that the latter was simply a play fight (it was cut on the Redemption video). |

I was ficking thorugh my copy of Shock! Horror! and reading that Ferman was so appalled by the Gestapos Last Orgy and refused to discuss it. And in 2003 hardgore were told it would nt pass the bbfc. I wonder what they would make of it today?

![]() Love Camp 7 was rejected in 2002. None of the 'Video Nazis' would suffer the same fate today though they'd almost certainly be cut. The Beast In Heat would be the most problematic.

Most of the Nazi films would easily pass the bbfc now. They are just WIP films in nazi uniforms.

Yes The Beast in Heat would be a very serious problem for the BBFC today, would be interesting to see if it would pass at all. Still no chance of Love Camp 7 getting through uncut either. Red Nights of the Gestapo would also be cut. Never seen Gestapo's Last Orgy though. Deported Women of the SS was also turned away by the BBFC at about the same time as "Last Orgy". I think this film has a fair chance now. |

![]() Ilsa: She-Wolf Of The SS was also rejected (twice) for cinema in the 70's. It would pass now and certainly wouldn't be as problematic as Beast In Heat. I rewatched Gestapo's Last Orgy a short while ago and it's still dire. |

Doesn't sound as though the BBFC even watched Gestapo's in 2003, and just informed Hardgore that it probably wouldn't pass so it doesn't count as an official rejection. After Love Camp 7 they were perhaps becoming a little wary of such titles being submitted. I thought it was disappointing at the time the BBFC just passing these films on like the way they did. Although of course I can understand a rejection on their site doesn't look very good for them. |
