Depends if you want to see it with the far superior Italian language track. A definite major plus as far as I'm concerned.

I haven't watched this film in maybe 5 or 6 years now and I totally forgot that the AB disc only came with an English track. Whilst I entirely agree that this is a major plus on Shameless's version and DTAD is a great little giallo it doesn't rank high enough on my list of top films to warrant a purchase at this stage. However, if Shameless or BU release a definitive edition on Blu then I'll pick it up straight away. I'll get the Italian version at some point regardless.

I just picked up the Shameless edition of Don't Torture A Duckling from Base.com for £7.99 delivered.I've never seen it before so I'm looking forward to giving it a watch sometime.

A DVD-r of this is currently up on ebay with the seller claiming (like they always do) that 'it's in the public domain'.

He/she/it actually has the cheek to say that it can't be reproduced without their permission!
