Yeah, I'm guessing it might have been those ordering last minute rather than orders from ages ago. I ordered mine on the 3rd January, it isn't here just yet but it better be here by lunch time although I'm ready prepared to complain to Amazon.

From what I could find out most who got it early are in Ireland and people who ordered in last week had there's dispatched before those who had it ordered for months, which I can understand people being upset, but it just looks like its been a complete shambles on amazons part

Amazon constantly cock things up, I understand the whole release date issue, I'm not bothered about getting it before release date, I'm fair but their costs for postage and slow delivery bugs me. I've trialled prime twice and they cock up even more there which is why I'm a bit worried. I did send them a very sad complaint about this, items have gone missing when sent via whatever service they offer with prime, turned up days later - so I don't understand why anyone would pay for this service unless they had a kindle and could benefit from the free books.
