Not getting overly excited I have zero faith in Konami.

So the RE4 remake is coming out in March. Looking forward to it.

Some people reckon there will be micro-transactions for in game purchases.

Personally, I always felt that RE4 wrecked the genre and the very series it is a part of. However, I don't really agree that it's a bad game when debated about in general. It's just that RE went in an awfully messed up direction, mainly because Capcom ran out of good ideas. RE4 really was the start of that decline. But some gamers may say it was CV from 4 years prior.

Capcom LOOOVVVVEESSSS a good microtransaction having to buy the original sounds and soundtrack for the RE2 remake was such an insult. The really are the most devious BAWWSTARDs in Neeew York CITAY

I don't really trust Capcom. I don't even see the point of these remakes, since 2 and 3 removed tons of content, and made Leon look like a generic soy boy. Yet 4 is apparently going to be rather faithful.

Then they skipped CV, which comes after 2. Because of course, classic RE will not sell as well as RE4, or something. So it should be obvious as to why they did that...

RE4 is an action classic. "Action." Not survival horror.
