On a bit of a roll today. Just put in a big order with Planetaxel including the Blue Underground Enzo G. Castellari crime films which are now a great price, Machine Gun McCain and Daughter of Darkness on BR and the Millcreek Gamera boxset for my wife.

Good times

frankenhooker.jpg

My synapse frankenhooker blu rturned up this morning. REGION FREE, SUPURB PICTURE QUALITY and with quite a few bonus features to boot. Inevitably with most synapse releases this end up getting an arrow release but usually they seem to include different bonus features, so no loss. The pre-order only set me back less than $15 us with free postage from horrormovieempire.com.

On the synapse newsfront as well...

Looks really good and those extra features are so much better than the largely barebones UK release, so I'll probably invest in that instead.

Did you buy that from Amazon.de?

My copy of Jackie Brown is still sat on 'Special Order with our suppliers'.

Damn you HMV, this is the first time you've let me down!

Not just HMV though, no company has sent a copy out to any customers, people over at Blu-ray.com are a little upset too you see. Seems the release date may have been moved back and details haven't been updated. Only a guess though

Just ordered this from Amazon Italy. It'll be my 2nd copy on blu-ray (the other being the German 3-disc mediabook).
