It's definitely one to consider and your wife/girlfriend/partner should be extremely happy with it -- the US set I have is a double disc one with all the extra features from the previous US DVD special edition release, but the box set (now OOP) also has lobby cards, archive correspondence, passport holder and luggage tag!
Show off

Kelly's only my girlfriend at the moment. Haven't took the plunge yet

Cheers for the info though, looking forward to it

BRIDGE OVER THE RIVER KWAI
GONE WITH THE WIND
RED SHOES
AN AFFAIR TO REMEMBER - My favourite Cary Grant movie!
THE MAN WHO WOULD BE KING
MALTESE FALCON
CASABLANCA
TREASURE OF THE SIERRA MADRE
CHICO & RITA (for something a bit different)
CITY GIRL & SUNRISE (Eureka's masters of cinema) - 2 silent films but they are stone cold classics and have a boy-finally-gets-girl happy ending!

Feels a bit wrong writing all these films in "The Horror Tannery" lol
Wowzas, that'll keep my online hunting busy at lunch, cheers mate. Mainly looking for the romantic classics ie. Audrey Hepburn, Cary Grant, Humphrey Bogart etc etc.
Well that's the impression I got from her

If she's into romantic comedies, you should really buy Will Success Spoil Rock Hunter? as it's a quality movie which you'll likely enjoy as much as her!

I reviewed it prior to release and thought both the film and BD were very good: Will Success Spoil Rock Hunter? Blu-ray

At nearly £30 I think we'll be giving that one a miss. These MOC releases go for a lot of money :'(

I think the high price is due to it being OOP, and is one I think Eureka are unfortunately not re-releasing as a dual format edition.

Most MoC BDs can be picked up between £10 and £20 online, plus they have monthly sales on their BDs and DVDs (if you sign up to their mailing list they'll send you a link), which can often see BD titles dropping to below a tenner.

Love the Shaw Brothers emblem on these releases.

The Brothers Warner should sue.

Picked these up for six quid each in Fopp Manchester:

MAITRESSE
PINK NARCISSUS
UN CHANT D'AMOUR
BLACK JACK

I also ordered the "Pusher" trilogy today and keep waiting for postie to bring "The Monster Squad".

Presently resisting the temptation to triple dip on "The Outsiders" which has just been given a UK release in the extended version, I already own both the US releases. "Stay gold".

As far as I'm aware Eureka are re-releasing ALL of their MoC catelogue except SOUL POWER (#7) as it didn't sell too well.

But, if you can't wait for it to be reissued in dual format you can still buy it direct from Eureka at £14.93

Eureka Offers - Blu-ray

Incidentally, I had 4 MoC BDs through the door today... Couer Fidele, Make Way For Tomorrow, Le Amiche, Silent Running steelbook. Eureka are the bomb!
