The main improvement I found with the SS Burial Ground BD over the DVD were the colours (they look drained in on the DVD) and the brightness: you can actually see what's going on in the night time scenes now.

Thanks mate,it ain't that bad right enough, just that other art looked so cool!

I like the BD Blue cases!

Just made a couple of excessive pre-Christmas purchases - Cat O Nine Tails and Tenebrae blu rays (£8.99 each on play.com). I've managed to justify these to myself because they're both out of stock at the moment so at least the funds won't come out until after Christmas!

If such a thing exists, that thread will be the one to reach it!

The colors are better, but the level of detail isnt, faces look a little more blured than they do on the dvd and theres a layer of digital fog far worse than even stendahl syndrome released by blue underground.

as a little p.s... the dvd looks better in upscale, personally i'd wait for a uk company to try and release this, vipco's disc is totally uncut and looks pretty good so the materials are out there!

Was tempted by the Criterion release of Les Diaboliques but the Arrow Academy one was only £8.99 on Play so went for that.
