My father recommened these i have never seen anything the Marx Brothers have done so worth a shot.
If you haven't seen a Marx Brothers film, that's a great selection to start with. I'd start with Animal Crackers, Monkey Business and Duck Soup (their greatest film), At the Circus and then move onto A Night at the Opera and A Day at the Races, which are both great films but, like At the Circus, have musical interludes, which aren't in their earlier films.

Recently picked up this title! Haven't been able to spend much money lately which means I have only really been able to make purchases when I find good bargains, so when I found this for just $1, I couldn't resist!

The best thing to do is try and forget everything you've heard or have been told about Citizen Kane and watch it with an open mind. If you're anything like me when I first saw it, you won't watch it for the technical innovations and remarkable narrative, but will just enjoy it as a film – I was amazed by just how witty the screenplay is.

Once you've seen it with the commentaries and want to watch it as a landmark piece of cinema, you'll then further appreciate Welles' direction, writing (with Mankiewicz), and performance.

I first watched it as part of my uni course a few months back as part of the unit "journalism in film" so I was watching for the way journalists were represented mainly. I need to go back and rewatch it for enjoyment somewhen!

Dr Chopper is far from a great film and the cover is a little misleading, but go in with low expectations and you might find it's one of those "so bad it's good' movies.

The only DVD I've received today is the R1 recent release of The Exorcist: Extended Director's Cut – my third DVD of that version!

Yes yes I know Dr Chopper is a terrible film with complete over acting but c'mon it was $1. I couldn't pass up a $1 indie film DVD!
