I should really buy Sanjuro as, like you, I love Seven Samurai and Yojimbo. A trip to Planet Axel later today I think!

Yeah PA is about the cheapest place out there right now for customs-free US BDs, although BluBastard has 1 or 2 cheaper Criterions.

Wasn't sure whether to get the 2-film set or get each individually, I went with the individual titles in the end as there was only £1 in it. You obviously haven't got that decision to make as you only need Sanjuro

I really hope PlanetAxel's free shipping promotion lasts past the 15th, as my credit card starts a new month I'd like to get my first taste of Redemption's titles. Currently thinking about Fascination, as the cover looks amazing.

The only Kurosawa I have on Blu is High and Low (so far).

As the films and BDs are excellent, the catching up will be well worth your time and money.

Nice one Nos!

Yeah I'm very keen on getting Kagemusha and High and Low as well as the StudioCanal digibook of Ran. Need to be patient though as they are expensive titles Hopefully Rashomon et al will be released in time too

All quality releases – Rashomon is another one of my most wanted Blu-ray releases, along with Ikiru, even though they have been treated very well by Criterion on DVD.

Got faculty on blu ray.

Absolutely ZERO bonus features, this and machete are both dissapointing when you consider the wealth of extras on the mariachi/dusk till dawn/sin city/grind house blu-rays. Faculty hasnt even got a trailer so its actually worse in that respect.

That said the picture and sound quality are both great and i've always enjoyed rodriguez homage to the bodsnatcher movies so worth picking up cheap (under fiver).
